Let's Show the World

Purpose

“Let’s Show the World” captures Mizzou’s momentum as a top-tier, land-grant university and the worldwide impact made by our researchers, faculty, students and staff. 

At Mizzou, we take action. We step up and push forward — launching startups, exploring new scientific frontiers and changing lives through community service. We not only learn by doing, we show the world what’s possible. 

This is more than a slogan. It’s a mindset rooted in the Missouri Method — hands-on and future-focused. It’s how we take on big questions, lead breakthrough research and prepare the next generation of innovators, leaders and changemakers.

Our spirit isn’t just bold. It’s built to move forward, outward and upward. We’re Mizzou. So go ahead, Let’s Show the World.

Usage Guidelines

This slogan reflects our brand messaging of innovation, leadership and investigation. It can be used in communications and marketing materials in the following capacities:

The exact phrase “Let’s Show the World” should only be used once per material.

Headlines

When “Let’s Show the World” is used as a headline, additional verbiage may be added to the beginning or end with appropriate punctuation. The use of the slogan should make sense in the context of the overall message.

Subheads

When the slogan “Let’s Show the World” is used as a subhead, do not add any additional verbiage/words.

Body Copy

When the slogan is used in body copy, do not capitalize the slogan. It may be used in totality or as an expression.

  • Architectural Studies isn’t just leading the way, we’re showing the world a more sustainable way to build cities.

Call-to-Action

When the slogan is used as part of a call-to-action, it should be capitalized. Any additional copy should be placed after a colon.

Footers

When using “Let’s Show the World” in the footer of materials, use an approved brand footer available in the Mizzou brand toolkits. 

The slogan should never be placed below the Mizzou signature or a unit signature in footers.

Social Hashtags

The #LetsShowTheWorld hashtag may be used alongside a Mizzou hashtag.

Apparel, Promotional Items and Merchandise

Several graphic assets for “Let’s Show the World” are available to use on apparel, promotional items and merchandise. A Mizzou or unit signature is required somewhere on the item. All items must be ordered through a licensed vendor.
